Queen of vocational education

The main characters of the program are artist Zoryana Ruban-Holovchuk, associate professor of the Department of English Philology of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Olena Galapchuk-Tarnavska, volunteer, contract soldier Tetyana Dolzhko, and mother of many children Lyudmila Oleksiuk.

The story is about the Nechymne tract, where Lesya Ukrainka (Larysa Kosach) lived as a child and which became the prototype of the world of The Forest Song. The screen saver, stand-up by journalist Ihor Hrushko, the well from which the writer drew water, the century-old oak tree under which she wrote poetry, the lake, and the construction of the Forest Song Museum. On the video is the TV movie "People Will Come." It tells about the life and work of the Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka and her family - the Kosachi family.

Lesya Ukrainka (real name Larisa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka) is an outstanding Ukrainian writer, poet, translator and public figure, died on August 1, 1913 in Suram, Georgia, at the age of 42. She was buried at Baikovo Cemetery in Kyiv.

The TV film ‘The One Who Woke the World’ is about the Lutsk and Kolodiazhne periods of Lesya Ukrainka's life. 
Larysa Dmytruk, a resident of the village of Kolodiazhne, Vira Komziuk, acting head of the Lesia Ukrainka Literary and Memorial Museum in Kolodiazhne, and Tetiana Danyliuk-Tereshchuk, head of the Lesia Ukrainka Museum at Lesia Ukrainka Eastern European National University, tell about the writer.

TV film ‘The One Who Woke the World’

A Visit in the Rain is a TV movie about the friendship between writer Lesya Ukrainka and teacher Maria Bykovska. The film was shot in the Volyn village of Piddubtsi, where Maria Bykovska taught in 1891.

The film's participants tell about the relationship between the two comrades: Petro Oleshko, a resident of Piddubtsi village; Natalia Pushkar, the chief curator of the Volyn Museum of Local Lore; and Mykola Lafeta, a priest in Piddubtsi village.

The film uses black-and-white photographs of Lutsk in the late nineteenth century, Lesya Ukrainka, Maria Bykovska, Olena Pchilka, Klyment Kvitka, members of the Kosach family, and Volyn peasants.
