Flora and fauna of the Bukovina Carpathians

Chernivtsi State Television and Radio Company, 2006. The issue of the "Realities" program is dedicated to the flora and fauna of the Bukovyna Carpathians, preserved on the territory of the Vyzhnytsky National Nature Park and the Storozhynetsk Forestry Farm.

On the video: landscapes of the Bukovina Carpathians; wild animals; photographs of research carried out by employees of the Vyzhnytsky National Nature Park; map of protected areas of Bukovina; waterfalls on the territory of the nature park; exhibitions depicting the park at different times of the year; squirrels; wild boars; deer; bison; food preparation for the winter; feeders; hunters.

Comment: Yuriy Sorokan, director of the Vyzhnytskyi National Nature Park, talks about the history of its creation and the characteristics of the nature reserve; Vitaliy Stratiy, head of the science and recreation department of the ecological and educational center of the Vyzhnytskyi National Nature Park, presents the features of the exhibition; Volodymyr Solodkyi, head of the State Forest Inspectorate, deputy head of the State Department of Ecology and Natural Resources in Chernivtsi region, describes the bison population; Serhiy Chistov, chief game expert of the Storozhynetsk State Forestry, describes the fauna species; Oleg Melnychenko, head of the Storozhynetsk district organization of the Ukrainian Hunting and Fishing Society (speaks in russian).
