Shevchenko holiday in Uzhhorod: "In a free, new family"

International Shevchenko literary and artistic holiday "In a free, new family" in the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater. The concert program features works to the words of Taras Shevchenko performed by soloists of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine, the Hryhoriy Veryovka National Academic People's Choir and other participants of the holiday.

On the video: performances of artists on the stage of the theater, performance of vocal works accompanied by the ensemble "Native Chants", performance of a bandurist, works to the words of Taras Shevchenko.

Performers: Halyna Oplia — "Lament of Yaroslavna" by Taras Shevchenko, music by Kucherenko. Valentina Stepova, soloist of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine — "Waltz, waltz, waltz", "The violin is playing on the street". Petro and Pavlo Pryimaki, soloists of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine — "Such is her fate", "Hutsulka Ksenia". Tetyana Kavun, soloist of the National Academic Folk Choir named after Hryhoriy Veryovka — "Oh, three broad ways" to the words of Taras Shevchenko, music by Stepovoy, and Natalka's song from Mykola Lysenko's opera "Natalka Poltavka".
