"Bukovyna — is our land"

August 8, 2004. Chernivtsi State Television and Radio Company. The plot "Bukovyna — is our land" tells about industrial enterprises, agriculture, culture, historical sights and tourist opportunities of the Chernivtsi region.

The video shows the work of the Chernivtsi Machine-Building Plant, the enterprises "Rozma", "Trembita" and "Malva", the Dniester HPP, woodworking enterprises and sawmills. Agricultural work, cultivation of wheat, cabbage, corn, seedlings, livestock grazing, food and meat processing industry, poultry farm.

The cultural and historical heritage of the region is presented separately: the Khotyn Fortress, the Museum of Ethnography and Local History of the Hutsul Region, archaeological excavations, the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, the Holy Spirit Cathedral, the Town Hall, monuments to Yuri Fedkovich, Olga Kobylyanska and Volodymyr Ivasyuk. The Vyzhnytskyi College of Decorative and Applied Arts and its museum exhibits, the holiday "Exit to Polonyna", performances by Ukrainian people's artists are shown.

Tourist opportunities of Bukovyna are represented by the landscapes of the Carpathians, recreation centers, the Cheremosh hotel, ski tourism, rafting, rivers and lakes.
