Resorts in Transcarpathia in 1998: From “Pearl of the Carpathians” to “Kosino”

1998. Transcarpathian State Television and Radio Company. The program “Transcarpathian Agricultural Health Resort Invites You” discusses the natural conditions of Transcarpathia and the operations of the region’s health resorts.

The episode introduces viewers to the “Pearl of the Carpathians” sanatorium, the “Teplitsa” climatic-balneological sanatorium, the “Mineral” sanatorium located on the grounds of the Solotvyno salt mine, and the “Kosyno” sanatorium. Medical staff discuss the unique features of these facilities and their treatment methods, particularly thermal water therapy, while vacationers share their impressions of their stays at the resorts.
