Lesya Ukrainka (real name Larisa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka) is an outstanding Ukrainian writer, poet, translator and public figure, died on August 1, 1913 in Suram, Georgia, at the age of 42. She was buried at Baikovo Cemetery in Kyiv.
