The film With the Blessing of Ukrainian Terpsichore tells the story of the past and future of Ukrainian folk dance, the father of Ukrainian professional theater, Marko Kropyvnytskyi, and
folk dance ensembles of Ukraine.

The video features a conversation with art critic Borys Kokulenko about the use of choreographic folklore in their performances by the luminaries of Ukrainian theater.

There is a commentary by People's Artist, artistic director of the Ukrainian ensemble "Yatran" Anatoliy Kryvokhyzha.
