"Shevchenko today": a story by Yevhen Sverstiuk

In the TV movie Shevchenko Today, literary critic, essayist, Sixties activist, and political prisoner of the Soviet regime Yevhen Sverstiuk tells about the figure of the Great Kobzar in the history of the Ukrainian people.

The script was written by Sviatoslav Pyrozhko, directed by Natalia Lugova, and edited by Olha Kulish.

The film uses video and audio materials from the archives and record library of the Volyn RSTBC.
