Mykola Pirogov is a doctor of medicine, professor, and founder of military field surgery. The scientist spent the last 20 years in an estate in the village of Vyshnia, near Vinnytsia, where he built a hospital, a pharmacy, and a garden of exotic plants. Now, there is a Manor Museum here.
