The Day of Honoring the National Flag of the Crimean Tatars has been officially celebrated in Ukraine since June 26, 2016. The Crimean Tatar flag was first adopted by the Kurultay in 1917 and renewed on June 30, 1991 by the Second Kurultay in Simferopol with the resolution “On the National Flag and National Anthem of the Crimean Tatar People”.

The colors of the Crimean Tatar flag are blue with a yellow coat of arms (tamga) in the upper left corner.
