Declaration of State Sovereignty: 20th anniversary of adoption

A story about the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.

The Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine was adopted on July 16, 1990 by the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR. The document provided for the independence, supremacy, fullness and indivisibility of power within the territory of Ukraine.
