For reference: The explosions of artillery depots in Novobohdanivka were a man-made disaster that occurred in May 2004. The explosions killed 5 people, damaged buildings in Novobohdanivka and the surrounding villages, and disrupted rail and road traffic on the nearby highways. 22 families were left homeless. A total of 6,963 residents from 15 villages within the 10-kilometer zone were relocated from the affected area. The area affected was 314 square kilometers, including 4 kilometers of the Zaporizhzhia-Melitopol gas pipeline.
