Reference: Dniester HPP is one of the hydroelectric power stations on the Dniester River, located in the southwest of Ukraine. For construction in the 1970s and 1980s, the Soviet authorities flooded the territory of 31 villages in Chernivtsi and Khmelnytskyi regions.
