Novodnistrovsk: building a city

Chernivtsi region, 1977. The video shows the construction of the city of Novodnistrovsk, as well as the hydroelectric power station of the Dniester hydroelectric power station. There are interviews with builders.

The material is in Russian, partly without sound. It contains signs of propaganda.

Reference: The Dniester Hydroelectric Power Plant is one of the hydroelectric power plants on the Dniester River, located in southwestern Ukraine. For its construction in the 1970s and 1980s, the Soviet authorities flooded the territory of 31 villages in the Chernivtsi and Khmelnytsky regions.
