Reference: On May 9-11, 2008, the 4th International Festival of Military-Historical Reenactment "Great Victory. May 45th" was held in Kyiv, near the "Pyrogovo" motorcycle track. The following helped organize the event: the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of Ukraine, the Kyiv City State Administration, and the Oleg Antonov Central Aeroclub.
The scenario — "The Last Month of the War" — conventionally demonstrated the fighting near the city of Stolberg (Germany), where the troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front (1st UF) joined forces with the Allied forces. Traditionally, a large number of equipment was involved, including two T-34-85 tanks and Yak-52 and B-35 aircraft.
Among the guests of honor is the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.
