History of Kyiv: Between the Horde and Lithuania

The film “On its own” from the series of television films “History of Kyiv” tells about the period of the Kyiv-Lithuanian Principality of the 14th-15th centuries, when Kyiv was gradually reborn after the Horde invasion, about the liquidation of the principality under the pressure of the great-power encroachments of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, which coincided with the devastating raid of the Crimean Khan Mengli Geray.

The film was created in cooperation with the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv. Contains fragments of chronicles and museum exhibits, various museum artifacts.
