“Victory Day": Sumy, 2004

The video is a report on the celebration of Victory Day. The city, the hospital of World War II veterans, performances of creative groups, field kitchen, festive dinner, greetings of veterans, a column marching down Soborna Street, military equipment, a military orchestra of the Institute of Missile Forces and Artillery, a column of veterans, state and party flags, laying flowers at the monument to the Grieving Mother at the central cemetery, the Memorial of Glory, the Eternal Flame, laying flowers, granite slabs with the names of the dead, a tank and a cannon, dancing to a brass band near the Gazebo, performances by young Sumy artists near the monument to Taras Shevchenko.
