Memories of Maria Savchenko

Sumy television, 2013. The video features a story about Maria Savchenko, a milkmaid, twice Hero of Socialist Labor, who participated in the evacuation of a large herd of Lebedyn cows during World War II.

The footage used is black-and-white newsreel footage: a livestock farm, Savchenko on the farm, milkmaids, breeders' work, Lebedyn cows, an agricultural exhibition, footage of the Second World War.
