“There was a war then...”

September 29, 1996, Volyn TV, program “There was a war then...” dedicated to the unveiling of a monument to all those who died during World War II on the Ukrainian and German sides.

On the video: Kovel, opening ceremony, black-and-white chronicle of the Second World War, speeches by: head of the regional state administration Borys Klimchuk, head of the Union of German Soldiers of Detmold District, head of the Main Department for Educational Work of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Volodymyr Sytnyk, second secretary of the German Embassy Anka Feldhusen, laying of flowers, men's choir, priests, interviews with participants of the ceremony.
