For reference: The explosion at the Stepova mine in the village of Hlukhiv, Lviv region, is one of the largest coal mining accidents in western Ukraine. The explosion occurred on March 2, 2017, at 12:46 a.m. at the 550-meter horizon, in the 119th conveyor drift. At the time, 172 miners were working at the mine, including 34 miners in the accident area.
