"Volodymyr sowed, Yaroslav shone": the baptism of Rus

The dramatic film "Volodymyr sowed, Yaroslav shone" is dedicated to the history of the baptism of Rus.

The film, based on iconographic material, recreates the era of the reign of Prince Volodymyr: the emergence of famous Kiev temples and monasteries, monumental wall paintings, mosaics and other artistic relics created by masters of the past.

On the video: landscapes of Kiev, temples, architectural landmarks of the city; fragments of filming of the State Architectural and Historical Reserve "Sophia Museum", the Kiev-Pechersk State Historical and Cultural Reserve, the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
