Reference: Hlukhiv is a town in Sumy region, in the border area with Russia. Between February 24 and the end of March 2022, Hlukhiv and the north of Sumy region were surrounded by Russian troops, practically in complete isolation. The state border itself was open, and enemy vehicles were moving along the highway from there. It was almost impossible to provide the population with food and medicine.
With the liberation of Sumy region in early April 2022, the situation gradually stabilized, but the Hlukhiv community is constantly under enemy fire.
