Traditions of the Green holidays

Volyn television, 2011. The program “...because today is the Green holiday” about traditions and rituals for the Trinity or Green holidays.

The video shows the Rozhyshche district, the village of Naviz: landscapes of the village, a river, a church, people in national clothes, singing songs, and rituals. Interview: Yevheniia Matviichuk, member of the amateur folklore group Yavorina; Tamara Klimovych, head of the amateur folklore group Yavorina; Valentyna Dobrovolska, head of the folk amateur folklore ensemble Pysanka.

The program features Ukrainian folk songs: “A Viburnum Blossoms in the Garden”, ‘I Planted the Garden Myself’, ‘We Water the Bush’.
