Reference: The Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir is a professional artistic collective, founded on September 25, 1945 in Uzhgorod as the State Transcarpathian Song and Dance Ensemble. In 1947, it was reorganized into a folk choir, since 1959 it has the title "Honored Collective of the Ukrainian SSR", and since 2009 - the status of an academic one.
