Reference: Yaroslav Isaevich is a Ukrainian historian, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, director of the I. Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies. He studied the history of Ukrainian culture in the early modern period, in particular brotherhoods, book publishing, the figure of Yuri Drohobych, and the activities of Ivan Fedorov. He introduced a number of little-known sources of the 17th–18th centuries into scientific circulation, and compiled a catalog of Ukrainian old prints.
