Reference: The Cathedral of the Life-Giving Trinity was the main church of Baturyn, built with funds from Ivan Mazepa around 1690–1692 on the territory of the Fortress. After the destruction of the city in 1708, the cathedral remained in ruins for a long time and was later dismantled. In the 2000s, archaeologists explored the remains of the temple, and it was later restored as part of the Hetman Capital National Reserve.
