Cossack Festival "Live Fire"

Vinnytsia Television. The May 10, 2010 issue of the "Podilskyi Chaypos" program is dedicated to the "Live Fire" festival in the village of Sabariv, Vinnytsia region.

In the video: Sabariv cliffs, embankment, Cossack tents; young people in Cossack uniforms, historical reenactors tell about Cossack traditions; a man smokes a pipe, tells about his lineage; Nepyipyvo shows a saber; Cossack juggling with kettlebells.

Reference: The International Ethnofestival of Traditional Culture "Live Fire" is an annual cultural event, initiated in 2009 in Vinnytsia by Ataman Volodymyr Volovodiuk. The festival is based on the ritual of cutting live fire, and its program combines elements of traditional culture, folk art, Cossack martial practices, and modern ethnomusic.
