Reference: Pustoviytivka is a village in the Romensky district of the Sumy region, known since 1252. Located on the left bank of the Sula River, it is associated with the name of the last kosh ataman of the Zaporozhian Sich, Petro Kalnyshevsky, who was born on a nearby farm. It has significant historical monuments, including the rebuilt Holy Trinity Church of 1773 and the Pustoviytovsky hydrological reserve.
