The programme ‘Yablunka znan...’ (The Apple Tree of Knowledge) is dedicated to the Brusyliv Lyceum, named after the statesman and Minister for the Protection of the Population from the Consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Accident (1990-1994) — Heorhii Hotovchits.

The video features: opening credits, shots of the village, newsreel footage, the Brusyliv Lyceum, a commemorative plaque, classrooms, students, books by Ukrainian scientist and bishop Ivan Ohienko, and houses of resettlers from the Chernobyl zone. Reference: Heorhii Oleksandrovych Gotovchits was a statesman and mechanical engineer by education. From 1990 to 1994, he headed the State Committee of Ukraine for the Protection of the Population from the Consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Accident, which later became the basis for the Ministry of Civil Protection.
