Reference: The photo exhibition "Ukrainian Insurgent Army. History of the Unconquered" opened on May 27, 2008 at the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the Center for Studies of the Liberation Movement and the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. The exhibition presented more than fifty archival photographs and documents of Soviet, German and underground origin, which covered the activities of the UPA. Against the background of many years of silence on the topic, this exhibition became an important step in the state recognition of the role of the insurgents in national history.
