"Seven Wonders of Sumy Region": Church of the Transfiguration

Sumy Television. The episode of the cycle program "Seven Wonders of Sumy Region" from October 30, 2008 is dedicated to the Church of the Transfiguration in the city of Glukhiv.

Reference: The Transfiguration Church in Hlukhiv is an architectural monument of national importance, belonging to the tetraconch type of temples. Built in the 18th century, it combines features of traditional Ukrainian architecture and classicist additions of the 19th century. During the restoration work, a unique 18th-century wall painting was discovered, which is of significant artistic and historical value.
