Reference: On 13 October 2007, a domestic gas explosion occurred in a ten-storey residential building on Mandrykovska Street in Dnipropetrovsk, completely destroying the entrance and damaging neighbouring buildings. Twenty-three people were killed, about 20 were injured, and dozens of families were left homeless. The investigation linked the tragedy to violations in the work of Dniprogaz, and several of its managers were convicted of negligence in 2013.
